ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD
 |
Mrs. Meinhold would like to congratulate students, parents, staff, and administrators at Hollis Grade School for receiving the 2010 Academic Excellence Award! This is the second year in a row that Hollis Grade School has earned the Academic Excellence Award.
Across the state of Illinois, 459 schools earned the Academic Excellence Award for 2010. Many of these schools receive national recognition for their long-time exemplary performance. |
To earn an Academic Excellence Award, schools must have made Adequate Yearly Progress in 2009 and 2010 as required by No Child Left Behind and PK-8 schools must have 90 percent of the students met or exceeded state standards in both reading and mathematics for the three most recent school years.
Hollis Grade School will be listed on the following website - http://www.ilhonorroll.niu.edu.
